Carnauba wax can produce a glossy finish, Brazilian Carnauba is the best It is known as "queen of waxes. 

Did you know your wife or girlfriend is a fan? carnauba wax appears as an ingredient in many cosmetics formulas where it is used to thicken lipstick, eyeliner, mascara, eye shadow, foundation, deodorant, various skin care preparations, sun care preparations..It produces a high gloss finish when buffed..

So as you can see it produces the gloss of glossy.It does have a Achilles heel it doesn't have the longevity. 3 to 6 months..

Montan Wax obtained by solvent extraction of certain types  brown coal. Commercially viable deposits exist in only a few locations, including Germany.

Montan wax is said to have many properties similar to vegetable waxes especially carnauba wax. Advantages over other waxes include sharp melting point characteristics, water repelling property and hardness. Montan wax is said to be one of the most resistant waxes to oxidation.
